A serious broker,
without the noise.
The brokerage industry has become very good at selling the image of trading.
Expensive events. Oversized bonuses. Excessive leverage. Headline spreads that look impressive but have no meaningful liquidity behind them. Promises that often sound considerably better than the actual experience clients have.
We think a broker should be judged on less glamorous things: what clients actually pay, how their trades are executed, whether they can withdraw their money and whether a real person answers when they need help.
Base Markets was created by people with experience across established, regulated brokers to offer a credible, professionally operated and fairly priced alternative.
Why we built Base.
Base Markets did not begin with a marketing concept. It began with a fairly simple observation: too much of the brokerage industry had moved away from the things that actually matter.
Many brokers looked different on the surface but offered much the same experience underneath. The branding became louder, the promotions became more elaborate and the promises became bigger. Meanwhile, pricing became less transparent, support became less personal and the relationship between broker and client became increasingly short-term.
Our team has spent years working inside established, regulated brokerage businesses. We understand the difference between a marketing proposition and an operation truly built to support its clients.
Base Markets was created to bring those fundamentals back to the centre of the relationship.
Credible brokerage requires experienced people, proper infrastructure, reliable payments, strong controls and the discipline to deliver consistently. It also needs to be backed by sufficient capital to support a commercial model that creates value for the broker without treating every client relationship as an opportunity to extract as much as possible, as quickly as possible.
We are not trying to be the loudest broker in the market. We are building a professional, fairly priced and operationally disciplined alternative for traders who value substance. We prefer clear pricing, an experienced team and a trading environment clients can assess for themselves.
We are not pretending to have reinvented trading.
We are simply saying the quiet part out loud: parts of this industry have become a little ridiculous, and clients deserve a more credible alternative. To become the trusted trading partner for active traders and serious partners.
For people who value credible service, strong trading conditions, commercial flexibility and disciplined execution.
We want to build trust by putting the client experience first: fair and transparent pricing, reliable execution, responsive service and professional operating standards.
Substance over theatre.
Credibility
Build trust through substance,
service and authenticity.
Credibility comes from clear communication, professional operating standards and following through on what we promise. That means being transparent about our conditions, treating client funding and withdrawals seriously, maintaining proper controls and taking responsibility when a client or partner needs our help.
A good reputation is not a marketing claim. It is the result of repeatedly doing the right things well.
Client value
Build a sustainable business by serving clients well.
A broker is a commercial business, but good brokerage economics should not depend on confusing pricing, weak service or poor client outcomes. We believe a broker should be able to build a sustainable business without depending on poor client outcomes. That principle is reflected in our pricing.
Base charges USD 2 per side — USD 4 round turn per standard lot — on FX from the first trade, rather than charging a higher starting rate and returning part of it later through rebates, tiers or special arrangements. Long-term client value is better business than short-term client monetisation.
We want clients to remain with Base because the relationship is valuable to them: the conditions are competitive, the service is dependable and the trading environment supports what they are trying to do.
Commercial flexibility
Listen carefully. Respond quickly. Solve practically.
Different traders and partners have different requirements. We believe a broker should be capable of understanding those requirements and finding practical solutions where there is a genuine commercial case.
That does not mean compromising controls or making promises we cannot support. It means remaining responsive, commercially motivated and willing to solve problems rather than becoming comfortable or complacent, or hiding behind a standard answer.
Operational discipline
Strong trading conditions require strong operations.
A polished website means very little if the broker cannot process a withdrawal properly, explain an execution issue or support clients when markets become volatile. Base is built with a focus on the infrastructure behind the trading experience: dealing, liquidity, treasury, client-money processes, reconciliation, risk management, technology, support and reporting.
These may not make the most exciting advertising campaign. They do, however, make a better broker.
Trade with a broker built on substance.
